The New Chapter, has been toughly thought out and takes inspiration from Kathryn’s life and the Thoth tarot with it’s sacred geometry. The deck was first created in watercolour so each illustration has a tactile feel that is complimented by the matt finish cards. These cards are slightly smaller than the standard tarot card size we use, and as such it makes for easy shuffling. This edition also features the lovingly created Hero’s Journey, a book of tarot spreads to evoke your inner hero, as you are the centre of your story.

Kathryn Briggs is a comic creator, art teacher, and practicing art witch based in the Greater Philadelphia area. Her love affair with comics began in 2012 while pursuing an MFA at Dundee University, Scotland. She has created a variety of zines, comics, and even a deck of playing cards for Ess Publications, the small press she founded in 2013.
