Elisa Macellari is a Thai-Italian illustrator born in Perugia and currently living in Vigevano. Papaya Salad, her first graphic novel, was published in Italy by BAO Publishing (2018) and in France by Èdition Steinkis (2019). She has also drawn and written a graphic novel about Yayoi Kusama for Centauria. Her clients include The New York Times, Women’s Health U.K., Cartoon Network, Corriere della Sera, Linus, Mondadori, Feltrinelli, Einaudi, Giunti, Piemme, Zanichelli and the Nobrow Press.
